Matron of Honor:
Nadia Ritter
Nadia and Katy have been friends since 2006. They met in a college speech class at Harper Community College. Then, unknowingly, they transferred to the same university and became friends. She is goofy, loves line dancing, playing disc golf, and spending time with family and friends.
Bridesmaids:
Jennifer Zomchek (Tan)
Jenny is Mike’s sister. Jenny met Katy on Christmas Day a few weeks after Katy and Mike began dating. Jenny is a smart, hard working pharmacist. She is joined by her husband Glenn, and recently they had their first child, Amy Li Zomchek.
Liz Burns
Liz and Katy have been friends for roughly 20 years. They met in first grade and both grew up in Barrington, Illinois. Liz is married and is a proud mom to one super cute daughter. Liz is strong, hard-working, and family oriented.
Mollye Peters
Mollye is a college friend of Mike having both attended Butler University. A few months after Mike and Katy began dating, she and Katy were introduced. They immediately connected over their love of France and appreciation of fine wine. Mollye recently completed her Master’s degree in sports marketing. Mollye is adventurous, creative, and driven.
Kristin Schmidt
Kristin and Katy met through their matron of honor in college. They really connected and became friends shortly thereafter. She is an entrepreneur, who started her own sweets business a few years ago. She is fun, dedicated, and enjoys traveling
Best Man:
Michael Myers
The two Michael’s met during high school in the choral music program. They share a similar outlook on life and help ground each other as they strive toward their goals. Mike is a professional music director and piano player at St. Collette Parish. He and his wife Liz recently welcomed their second child into their household.
Groomsmen:
Scott Bush
Scott is Katy’s brother. He lives in Portland, Oregon with his wife Meredith and their dog Paddington. Scott has started his own business as well as working for a running magazine. He enjoys traveling and experiencing the outdoors. He as always been a role model to Katy and is a highly welcomed part of the wedding party.
Joseph Martisius
Joe is Mike’s oldest friend having first met in first grade. They immediately connected over their interests in video games, technology, and fishing. After numerous video game battles, paintball fights (to which Joe won every single one), and a bunch of fish stories, Joe and Mike continue to be friends. Joe recently moved into his first house with his future bride Emily.
Emmanuel Pappas
Manny and Mike became friends in freshman year of high school when they always ate lunch together with the same group of friends. The following year, they both were in the school’s chorus and became stronger friends. Manny is fun and often the life of the party.
Justin Bournes
Justin and Mike became friends after college and met through mutual friends. Justin has recently completed his Master’s degree from Chicago State University. Justin is quirky and often very high energy. He enjoys current films and youthful music and television.

Glenn Zomchek
Glenn is Mike’s brother-in-law. He is an electrical engineer at a defense contractor.
Lewis Parker
Lewis and Mike met in college both being engineering and physics students. They connected through Rock Band video games and Buffalo Wild Wings parties.
Daniel Ritter
Dan and Katy met through her matron of honor, Nadia. Dan works at the Rolling Meadows Park District. He is a cool cat.
